Writing would truly be boring if we detailed it with our daily routines. It is difficult to avoid long descriptions and tangents during the writing process. Without editing, our scribbles are a tangled mess. Our lives require an editing or cleansing too.
Knowing what to take out and what to trash isn't always easy for me. I don't have trouble limiting television anymore, but the internet can be a sink hole for me. I think it has it's advantages, but it's too easy to get distracted. I keep reminding myself that I need to set a timer for certain tasks. I'm terrible at knowing how long activities will take to complete! I think timing computer usage for me is the most important. It can suck time and life out of me if I let it.
